Short presentation
The multiagent systems team undertakes research in the following topics:
- multi-agent coordination: studying algorithms and protocols allowing several agents to coordinate (distributed planning, coalition formation, negotiation and deliberation, computational social choice, multi-agent learning);
- multi-agent simulation: dedicated to the modelling and simulation of complex human systems, in particular in the aim of designing and evaluating public policies (model calibration, scaling issues, participative simulations);
- agents' architectures and agents' languages: models, structures, and engineering issues related to the deployment of multi-agent systems (agent communication languages, multi-agent platforms);
- creativity and content generation: focused in particular on musical content generation, based on learning or multi-agent methods.
Multi-Agent Systems : coordination, interaction, learning, languages and multi-agent platforms

Logics for Strategic Reasoning: Recent Developments and Application to Mechanism Design
Schedule : 13:00
Speaker(s) : Munyque Mittelmann (Univ. of Naples Frederico II)
In recent years a wealth of logic-based languages have been introduced to reason about the strategic abilities of autonomous agents in multi-agent systems. This talk presents some of these important logical formalisms, namely, the Alternating-time Temporal Logic and Strategy Logi...
