Presentation

The ComplexNetworks team conducts fundamental and applied research around large interaction datasets. Its focus is on describing and understanding these datasets, as well as developing methods to analyze their structures and dynamics. Among them, we can mention graph formalism, but also the link stream formalism that the team developed.

A central part of the team's work is developing large graph algorithms specially adapted to the study of real-world networks such as online social networks, transport networks, financial transactions, or biological interactions.

Thanks to these application aspects, the team positions itself in the interdisciplinary field of complex systems science. It brings insights rooted in computer science.
