Framekit is a software platform dedicated to the prototyping of CASE environments. One of its objective is to establish a relation between services (functions provided to a user) and tools (program that execute the corresponding actions). This report presents service declaration mechanisms in FrameKit and illustrates their use by means of examples. One characteristics of the proposed mechanisms is to allow service declaration without any recompilation of FrameKit.
