    • Specifying is not a gimmick, it is a real discipline that offers many advantages to the developers. It is helpful to buil, manage and describe applications. Standards are now available such as the OMG adoption of the UML notation and the RM-ODP developed by ISO and ITU-T. However these standars are totally independent although they deal with the same topic. In order to conciliate these two approaches, we propose in this paper a way to use the UML notation to express the RM-ODP enterprise concepts
