Abstract

Model-based testing is a promising approach to cope with the complexity of nowadays systems. It shifts the effort from manual test case specification to the modeling of the system's behavior and enables automated test case generation. This talk will present an application of model-based testing in the context of the OpenETCS project (2012-2015). The main goal of this project was to provide an open source tool chain for the design, the validation and the verification of the European Train Control System (ETCS).
