Intelligent Sensing in RFID Systems towards Real Complex Environment
报告人 : Lei Xie (Nanjing University, China)Nowadays RFID has become a critical technology in Internet of Things, due to its battery-free feature and capability in smart sensing. By sufficiently leveraging the properties in backscatter-based communication, RFID system can be effectively used to not only identify the objects but also locate and perceive the activities of the specified objects. In this talk, I will introduce our recent research work in RFID-based identification, localization and activity sensing. Facing up to the challenging problems in real complex environment, we seek to bridge the gap between ideal and reality in RFID systems. Based on the understanding of extensive real experiments, we propose simple, practical and in-depth solutions towards real complex environment. Some interesting system demos for RFID-based applications will be shown in this talk.
