Frequency based class representation of fuzzy sets and its relation to Bayes classifiers

We present an approach to obtain class representing fuzzy sets based on the frequency distribution of the class elements. After a brief discussion on the properties of this approach we look at the Bayesian approach, also frequency based, for class representation and compare these two approaches.
