High performance network functions with Vector Packet Processing (VPP)

Vector Packet Processing (VPP) is a high performance data-plane running on commodity hardware. VPP is a framework for building bespoke network functions. This talk will give an introduction to VPP architecture and function and give examples of how virtual network functions can be built with VPP.
Bio: Jérôme is a Distinguished Engineer working for Cisco Systems. He is driving several open source projects related to FD.io (Linux Foundation) / VPP including OpenStack integration, NetConf/Y support and others. Jerome is working at the Paris Innovation Research Lab (PIRL).
