Research on Ad Hoc Networking at UCSC's I-NRG

In this talk, we will present an overview of the ongoing research in the area of ad hoc networking carried out at UC Santa Cruz's Internetwork Research Group. The projects include design of efficient MAC protocols for MANETs, development of an integrated framework for interoperation of MANET multicast routing protocols, design of efficient data aggregation algorithms for sensor networks, and design of reliable multicast transport for MANETs. Katia Obraczka is an Assistant Professor at UC Santa Cruz's Jack Baskin School of Engineering. Her research and teaching interests include computer networks, distributed systems, Internet information systems, and operating systems. Prof. Obraczka received her B.S. and M.S. in electrical and computer engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She received her M.S and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 1990 and 1994, respectively
