Résumé : Cet article résoud partiellement un problème proposé par Almeida, le calcul du supremum de deux (pseudo)variétés bien connues de semigroupes. Il s'agit de la variété des bandes et de celle des semigroupes localement triviaux.
Nous utilisons une méthode développée par Almeida, basée sur la théorie des opérations implicites, dont nous rappellerons brièvement les principaux résultats.

Abstract : This article partly solves a problem proposed by Almeida: the computation of the join of two well-known pseudovarieties of semigroups, namely the pseudovariety of bands and the pseudovariety of locally trivial semigroups.
We use a method developed by Almeida, based on the theory of implicit operations that we shall review in brief.
