Titre / Title: SATELIT, un Outil d'Explicitation de Connaissances Hypermédias

Résumé : Cet article est consacré à la présentation du système SATELIT qui utilise les techniques d'intelligence artificielle et celles des hypermédias pour organiser et mémoriser des informations. Plus précisément, SATELIT est un outil d'acquisition de descriptions structurelles d'objets dans un formalisme de représentation qui se prête à l'indexation de documents hypermédias. Nous dégagerons les apports mutuels de la base de connaissances et des hypermédias; nous exposerons la méthode d'explicitation des connaissances sur laquelle est bâti le système et nous mettrons en évidence l'utilisation qui en est faite pour construire automatiquement le système hypermédia.

Abstract : This paper deals with IA and hypermedia technics to organize and memorize informations. A system is described, called SATELIT. This system is a tool to acquire structural descriptions of objects in a formalism of representation appropriate to index hypermedia documents. Its application domains are those characterized by a great amount of informations and a classification of objects, like botany or zoology. We present the benefits a knowledge base and a hypermedia system get from each other. We describe the knowledge acquisition method used by SATELIT and show how it is used to automatically construct and structure the hypermedia system.
