The scheduling zoo

وحـدة : RO

The scheduling zoo is a small search engine for a bibtex bibliography in scheduling. It follows the 3-field notation introduced by Graham et al, and has the following features.

  • problems can be specified using popup fields
  • a short documentation is shown for the selected attributes
  • the data base consists of a bibtex file using the annotate field to store formated information about results
  • the data base has been started by Sigrid Knust and Peter Brucker and was completed by several contributors since results contain polynomial time algorithms or NP-hardness proofs, but also upper and lower bounds on competitive ratios and appriximation ratios
  • the search engine searches for matching problems but also for generalizations or particular cases, using a reduction diagram on the field attributes
