A Service Oriented Tool for Consolidation of Information in E-Government Applications

In the Venezuelan Governement context, most of the data relies on documents (HTML, XML, other text based) available through Internet. A challenging issue is to obtain the data from unstructured documents and make it available as if it was structured.In our system, extraction techniques are used to get data from web documents. Then a consolidated document, is obtained as a result of a web services orchestration. The orchestration processes are defined under BPEL documents. Finally, our system produces a unified XML document and its corresponding XML Schema.
