Routage « Cross-Layer » et Gestion de la Mobilité dans les Réseaux Maillés Sans Fil

Les réseaux maillés sans fil (Wireless Mesh Networks - WMN) construits selon une architecture à deux niveaux basée sur des routeurs maillés sans fil (Wireless Mesh Routers - WMR), ont capturé l'intérêt de la communauté de recherche. Malgré les efforts consacrés aux WMN, de nombreux problèmes subsistent encore. Dans cette thèse, nous abordons les problèmes du routage et dans la gestion de la mobilité en proposant les contributions suivantes. Dans un premier temps, nous concevons et formalisons MRS (Mesh Routing Strategy), une stratégie de routage *cross-layer* capable d'optimiser la puissance de transmission et de calcul des chemins. Dans un deuxième temps, nous concevons et implémentons MeshDV, une solution de routage adaptée aux WMN, qui incorpore MRS et gère efficacement la mobilité des utilisateurs. Dans un dernier temps, nous déployons MeshDVbox, un WMR construit à partir de composants disponibles sur le marché.
