Résumé : Ce rapport présente un programme qui engendre des phrases indiquant le nombre d'occurrences des caractères qu'elle contiennent. Après avoir décrit le problème, nous détaillerons la méthode mise en oeuvre, dérivée d'une idée proposée par D. Hofstadter. Nous donnerons les résultats obtenus et nous monterons que cette méthode s'inspire d'un principe bien connu en IA, mais qu'elle est appliquée dans une situation où elle devrait échouer. Pourtant, elle obtient d'excellents résultats.

Abstract : This report describes a program creating self-reflective sentences, which indicate the number of occurrences of their letters. After defining the problem, we present the method, derived from an idea described by D. Hofstadter. We analyze the results found by the system and we show that this method can be considered as an application of the means-ends analysis. Although it is used in a situation where it must fail, it has very good results.
